Which visa is right for you?

Japan's pathways are built for specific profiles. Three questions narrow the field — and if none apply, the free consultation is the right first step.

01

Are you starting or already operating a business in Japan?

Business Manager Visa if you can meet the ¥30M capital threshold and are ready to operate. Startup Visa if you need more preparation time — municipality-sponsored, no capital barrier.

02

Are you a senior executive or high-income professional?

HSP Visa if you score 70+ on Japan's points system. J-Skip Visa if your income is ¥20M+ and you want to skip the points calculation entirely — an immediate 5-year visa.

03

Have you recently graduated from a top-ranked university?

J-Find Visa gives you 2 years to find employment or test a startup idea in Japan, with no income requirement during the visa period.

04

Not sure where your profile fits?

A 30-minute consultation maps your background to the right pathway — and identifies the requirements that need structuring before you apply.

Why Aplash for immigration.

We sit at the intersection of company formation and immigration law — so the parts that block most applicants are the parts we're built to solve.

01

Cross-border regulatory fluency

Japan's October 2025 visa reforms changed the requirements in ways that catch most applicants off guard. We don't just fill forms — we structure your application around the new rules: certified business plans, staff arrangements, capital optimisation, and office compliance. Bilingual in law, not just language.

02

Incorporation + immigration, unified

Most firms hand you a visa and wish you luck with company setup. We handle both. Your KK or GK formation, registered office, director arrangements, and visa application are coordinated as one project — no gaps, no handoffs.

03

We solve the hard parts

Need a resident director but operating remotely? Can't meet ¥30M yet but want to start? Need Japanese-language operations but don't speak Japanese? We engineer compliant solutions for the requirements that block most applicants.

04

Hong Kong · Osaka · Remote

On-the-ground support in Japan with coordination from Hong Kong and China. Your timezone, your language, your pace — we're set up to work the way you work.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Visa types, the fastest PR route, the October 2025 reforms, and remote setup — the essentials before you choose.

What Japan visa types does Aplash support?

We support the Business Manager Visa (経営管理) for entrepreneurs, the Startup Visa for early-stage founders, the Highly Skilled Professional Visa (HSP / 高度専門職) for professionals with 70+ points, the J-Skip Visa (特別高度専門職) for top-tier professionals, the J-Find Visa (未来創造人材) for graduates of top global universities, and the Dependent Visa for family members of qualifying holders.

What is the fastest path to Permanent Residency in Japan?

The J-Skip Visa offers PR after 1 year — the fastest pathway available. The HSP Visa offers PR in 1 year (80+ points) or 3 years (70–79 points). The Business Manager Visa requires 10 years of continuous residence for standard PR eligibility.

What changed in the Business Manager Visa requirements in October 2025?

From October 2025: minimum capital increased to ¥30,000,000; at least one full-time employee who is a Japanese national, permanent resident, or long-term resident is now mandatory; virtual office addresses are no longer accepted; the business must operate in Japanese; and the business plan must be certified by a licensed Japanese professional. Existing holders have a 3-year transitional period.

Can I set up a company and apply for a Japan visa remotely?

Yes. The entire Business Manager Visa process — company registration, capital injection, office setup, and Certificate of Eligibility application — can be completed remotely from overseas. Physical presence in Japan is only required after the visa is issued, upon first entry.

Can I bring my family to Japan on a dependent visa?

Yes. Spouses of Business Manager, HSP, J-Skip, and other qualifying holders can live and work in Japan under a dependent visa without a separate work permit. Children can attend Japanese public or private schools.
