  1. Sign your mandate

Signed on the confirmation page, right after payment.

  2. Secure link, then access code

Your onboarding link arrives within one business day, its access code in a separate message. Identity and source-of-funds documents go through that link.

  3. Candidate confirmed with you

We confirm the specific company with you, including purchase cost, account status and filing history, before anything is bought.

  4. Sign the transfer

You sign the share transfer agreement and complete the shareholder registry entry. That entry, not the Legal Affairs Bureau filing, makes the ownership change effective.

  5. Change registration

On your written confirmation, a partner judicial scrivener files the change registration for director, address and business purpose.

  6. Bank review

The bank runs its own review of the new owner. Continuity of the existing major-bank relationship is decided by the bank and is case-specific.

Shelf Company Acquisition: Major-Bank Tier

Step 1 of 4: Service and your details

Your order

From USD 20,000major-bank tier, per company

Takes over a dormant entity that already holds a major-bank relationship, where an internet-bank account is not enough for the counterparties you deal with.

Acquisition of a dormant Kabushiki Kaisha (KK) or Godo Kaisha (GK) carrying an existing major-bank or megabank relationship at acquisition.

Major-bank tier covers a company carrying an existing major-bank relationship. The bank runs its own new-owner review, which Aplash prepares for and does not decide.

Billed separately at cost

  • The company's own purchase cost and any government or third-party professional fees for the transfer are confirmed with you in writing before anything is bought.

Where only a higher-cost shell is available, the engagement is re-quoted and you decide before any purchase.

The specific company, its confirmed purchase cost and its account and filing history are confirmed with you at onboarding before anything is bought. Where only a higher-cost company is available, the engagement is re-quoted and you decide before purchase. Whether the major-bank relationship survives the ownership change is decided by the bank on its own review and is case-specific; nothing here is a commitment that it will.

What this covers
  • Sourcing a dormant entity holding a major-bank relationship that matches your activity
  • Due diligence coordination on the entity's filing history and account status
  • Coordination of the judicial scrivener change registration for representative director, address and business purpose
  • Coordination with the bank through the ownership change, including the documents its review calls for
