    Signed on the confirmation page, right after payment.

  2. Secure link, then access code

    Your checklist link arrives within one business day. Its access code follows separately.

  3. Documents you provide

    A signed power of attorney, your certificate of incorporation or registry extract, and a trade-flow diagram (words are fine).

  4. Filing with Customs

    We file your Attorney for Customs Procedures notification (Form C-7500).

  5. Appointment takes effect

    Effective once Customs records the filing. Timing is set by Customs and is case-specific.

Order shipments with the appointment and they are charged with it, or take the appointment on its own and order shipments later at the same rate. Volume rates apply when 6 or 12 shipments are ordered together. The rate is the same whether Aplash coordinates the licensed-broker workflow or your own broker files, and the work is performed under the service agreement drafted for your matter after this order.

Appointment of Aplash as your Attorney for Customs Procedures under Customs Act Article 95, so that Japan Customs has a party it can reach in Japan for your entries.

Available to importers with no registered legal entity, office or address in Japan. Food, drink, additives, food-contact goods and children's toys run on a separate route.

Billed separately at cost

  • One Japan Customs office is covered. Each additional office is a separate filing under Customs Act Article 95 and is quoted separately.
  • Customs duty, Japan Consumption Tax and any partner registered customs specialist fees are settled at cost, outside this order.
  • Per-shipment ACP work is charged at USD 1,200 per shipment, whether Aplash coordinates the licensed-broker workflow or your own broker files. Shipments ordered with the appointment are charged with it; shipments ordered later are charged at the same rate, and 6 or 12 shipments ordered together take the published volume rate. The work is performed under the service agreement drafted for your matter after this order.

The appointment takes effect when Customs records the notification. Timing is set by Customs and is case-specific.
